This Festive Cocktail – A Recipe
WHere is a home-style version of a beverage featured on a new drinks list. Designed as a party-sized premix that's loaded with the essence of a festive period, making it excellent for hosting a celebration. Save the extra cordial for morning drinks, desserts, or to mix another batch of this cocktail.

Yields 10 guests
Ingredients for the Clementine Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
For the Premix (produces 850ml, serving 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Directions
For the Citrus Syrup: Put all the components inside a pan, bring to a simmer, agitating to dissolve. Then, turn off the burner allowing it to cool down entirely. Pour into an clean bottle, seal keeping it in the fridge, where it will keep for about one month.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Mix the specified liquids into a large bottle, allow it to infuse for an hour, then filter it preferably using a fine cloth, to ensure it's perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Measure 85ml of the batch mix into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, gently stirring carefully for one minute to chill. Filter to a cold coupe glass or similar, garnish with a few cranberries and complete it by giving it a brief mist with the mandarin essence above the glass.
